I love Des Moines. It's my home and I couldn't be more proud of that. Outside of my college years, I have been here my entire life and have had the opportunity to meet and befriend some of the finest people that the world has to offer. I also love real estate. Since I was a little kid playing Monopoly with my family, it is something that I have always been in awe of. Through lot and development ground sales, the idea that I have the potential to play a small role in the development and growth of the city that I love is everything I could possibly want in a "job"... If you want to call it that.

I have spent close to a year now trying to put everything together for this website. Initially my intention was to have a website where I could direct builders and developers for the lot and ground listings that I have. Seeing that I have listings all across Central Iowa, I thought that it would be easiest to have a page for each of the 19 communities that make up the Des Moines Metro and on each community page, have links to the projects that I have listed in that community.

Over the past few years, having worked with builders, developers, and individuals wanting to buy lots, I have seen a lot of people pass on some great lot and ground opportunities, specifically because they don't know much about the community that the ground is part of. Therefore I took the time to coordinate with representatives of each of the 19 communities that make up the Metro to put together a "Community Profile" for each community. The Community Profiles cover a wide range of things from demographics to schools to building permits, etc. I wanted to make sure to include things that I knew builders, developers, and individuals wanting to buy a lot would be interested in.

Highland Meadows has been a phenomenal community to be a part of. We started out with 19 home sites in Plat 1 less than a year ago and are now down to only six.
